We wandered Ronda. Ate. Parents saw the Arab baths - atmospheric. Girls took fashion photos (pictured) and shopped. Ate at Burger Kings ... no, there is no excuse. All saw the Puente Nuevo bridge display. Women painted in the gardens. Michael visited the Palacio gardens and walked down the Moorish "mine shaft" to the river bed below the bridges. Ate.
After lunch we drove to Granada to get it "ready". Jenny, Jaume and family will arrive by sleeper train at 7:30am tomorrow. Together we will show no mercy and squeeze the joy out of Granada to the last drop just as we have squeezed the juices out of each of the Spanish oranges we have come to love.

loving the blog even if i don't post much. it helps get through the day in my Bankstown Batcave. lots of love to you all, Caroline HB
ReplyDeleteSaw the Corinth Canal on Tv and marvelled at it then -- amazing to see it in real life. Wonderful to be staying above a patisserie in Ronda -- and to have a logopedia close by!! Some people can't get enough of bike riding -- seems to be turning into a disease!! Am sure you will enjoy the Alhambra --- so much history.
ReplyDeleteRain is now coming to SA & Vic -- think fire destroyed 27 homes near Adelaide earlier in the week. 32 degrees here today. No doubt warmer at Quakers!! Enjoy those ice "puddles".
