Oops ... we didn't get going till 1pm. We then saw the awesome house of an artist Rodriguez Acosta who had more money than sense. Amongst other things he set up a funeral tomb with an effigy of himself on the top in the garden in order to symbolise him losing his artistic creativity ... he was still alive at the time. Great garden, but he rarely invited anyone in.
Then shopping, a quick visit to the cathedral by Michael, and a visit to a hamman by the three M's. It was set up like a true Arab bathhouse with cold, warm and hot baths as well as a steam room. Underground, low lights, candles, cool architecture. Michael and Meg also each had a massage. Nice...
We also took turns at drawing pictures of Fiona. It seems Fiona is best at drawing pictures of Fiona.
Update: Our QH Fortress Local Co-ordinater, Mr Peter Anderson is quite pleased at the progress of the Fortress fighting fund which has grown from 1 euro to eight "items" being 6 carrots (thanks Liz, Erin and Kirsten), one Euro and a button. It would be fair to say the International Study Tour group is little less delighted as we expect that Peter may eat much of the profits. Buck up everyone - at this rate we may only be looking at an upside down sand bucket. Instead imagine lying in a banana chair on your very own fortress wall drinking piƱa coladas and nochalantly firing the occasional crossbow through the castellations at marauding Rouse Hill scouting parties. Give till it hurts.

You can have an extra carrot for that dream...
